These platforms let you pay a monthly fee and you do not have to manage your website in the same way or search for hosting. Also, you will always have the best customer service.
My opinion is that this type of ecommerce framework are for companies that need to rapidly scale which will employ developers (or the group consisting of programmers) to run the whole website. However, if you don’t have the funds to hire this kind of person it’s better to scale up using something similar to Shopify.
