The Ontario Provincial Police say a nine-year-old boy who was not wearing a seatbelt has died in a car crash on the QEW.
Police said the crash, a single-vehicle rollover, happened in the westbound lanes of the QEW near Bronte Road in Oakville, Ont. just after midnight on Monday.
There were three people inside the vehicle — a child and two other men.
OPP Const. Tim Dunnah said the driver had been driving for hours and fell asleep at the wheel when the pickup truck went airborne and flipped several times.

Dunnah said the nine-year-old boy was not belted in and was ejected from the vehicle.
Dunnah added a Good Samaritan who is an off-duty nurse was the first person on scene and conducted CPR on the child.
He died from his injuries.
Police said the 38-year-old male driver sustained critical injuries and the other adult, a 28-year-old male passenger, was not injured. Police said they were family members.
The roads were closed overnight but reopened by 6 a.m. Monday.
